'Symphony Idol'
BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will perform a pop concert titled “Symphony Idol” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.
Maestro Matthew Kramer will be conducting.
The concert will feature performances by “American Idol” season eight finalist Matt Giraud and season six finalists LaKisha Jones and Haley Scarnato.
Some of the music selections to be performed are “Georgia On My Mind,” “Girl On Fire,” “And I Am Telling You” and “It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing.”
Tickets are $20.50 for adults and $5.50 for students. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m.
