Butler School District is closed for the day due to weather and road conditions, according to the district’s website.

Acting Superintendent William Pettigrew wasn’t immediately available for comment this morning.

The closing comes as several other districts around the county issued two hour delays for today amid snowy and cold conditions.

Those districts include Freeport, Karns City, Moniteau, Seneca Valley, Slippery Rock and South Butler school districts.
