William “Bill” Emerson Rankin, 70, of Callensburg passed away Monday at his home.

William was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Parker. He was the son of the late Charles E. Rankin and the late Bernice Garris Rankin.

Bill enjoyed watching old movies and going to the Knox Rod and Gun Club to visit with people.

Mr. Rankin and his brother, Randy, had been owners of a window cleaning business in Butler.

Bill is survived by three sisters, Jean Kramer of Cranberry Township, and Carol Blount and Janice Kline of East Brady; and two brothers, Mark and John Blair, both of Butler.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rankin was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha, who died in 1992; his brother, Randy Best; and his sister, Juanita Best.

RANKIN — Friends of William “Bill” Emerson Rankin, who died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hile Funeral Home, 802 Grove St., Saint Petersburg.A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
