Clara L. Cunningham

Clara L. Cunningham, 94, of Zelienople passed away Thursday while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born June 24, 1922 in New Sewickley Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Dambaugh Teets.

Clara was an active member for 50-plus years of Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.

She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels in Zelienople. Clara loved to read, work on crossword puzzles, and going to flea markets to buy and sell various goods.

Her greatest treasures were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an animal lover, especially of her four cats.

Clara leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children and their spouses, Debbie and Andrew Grosick of Harmony and Randal and Diane Cunningham of Ellwood City; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Cunningham; her brother, Paul Teets; and her sister, Lois Wogan-Stokes.

CUNNINGHAM — The family of Clara L. Cunningham, who died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, will welcome friends from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople with the Rev. Paul Merrill officiating. (Everyone please meet at the church).

She will be laid to rest in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester.

Memorial donations may be made in Clara’s honor to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 154 Hindman Rd., Butler, PA 16001, or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.
