Monica L. Mitch
Monica L. Mitch, 97, of Butler, passed away Saturday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born May 4, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Susan Yevin Semes.
She retired from the PA Public Health, where she worked as a registered nurse.
She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian. She was very close with her family. She was also very involved in many aspects of her church and was one of the founding members of the 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration at St. Michael Chapel.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Mullner of Butler; and her son, Peter A. Mitch of Leechburg; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret (Frank) Berger of South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major John F. Mitch, who died Jan. 22, 1962; and one brother, John Semes.

Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev.
