Peter L. Hursh

Peter L. Hursh, 70, of Cranberry Township died Wednesday in UPMC Passavant Hospital, North Hills.

Born in Germany on Dec. 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Loren and Elizabeth Weeks Hursh.

He was a retired delivery driver for Transaxle Trucking.

Peter loved NASCAR, the Steelers, fishing and cooking, but most of all he loved his yellow Lab, Hannah.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene Bartley Hursh, who he married July 26, 1988; a daughter, Lisa Anderson and her husband, Rick, of Shaler Township; three sons, Robert Hursh of Sharpsburg, Dwane Thomas and his wife, Jeanna, of Montana and Matthew Hursh and his wife, Darla, of McCandless Township; three brothers, Karl, Werner and Wolfgang, all of Germany; and two sisters, Edith and her husband, Charles, of Florida and Anita of Germany; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Michael, Kayla, Aaron, Carter and Ian.

HURSH — Friends of Peter L. Hursh, who died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
