Mona “Molly” Jean Bartel
Mona “Molly” Jean Bartel, 92, of Sarver passed away at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday at Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg. She had been ill since 2008.
Born Feb. 26, 1924, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Lizzie Jones Adams.
Molly was a homemaker, and she enjoyed doing puzzles, embroidery and ceramics. She was Protestant.
Molly is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Judy) Bartel of Gilpin Township and Dennis (Deborah) Bartel Buffalo Township; three daughters, Monajean (Tom) McCracken of Winfield Township, Virginia (Clarence) Walmsley of Winfield Township and Beverly Bartel of Winfield Township; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Evan and Martin; and five sisters, Rachel, Mary, Delores, Greta and Barb.
BARTEL — The family of Mona “Molly” Jean Bartel, who died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME, 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.A private funeral service will be conducted later at the family's convenience with the Rev.
