Diane Marie Snyder

Diane Marie Snyder

Diane Marie Snyder, 70, passed peacefully Jan. 8 in Sarasota, Fla.

She was doing one of the things she was most passionate about in life, which was taking walks with the love of her life, Larry Snyder. They were married in 1965 and they had a love that everyone wished they could have.

Diane was one of the most caring people you would ever meet. She loved bringing the family together and cooking special meals for them around the holidays or on other special occasions. She lived a very healthy and active lifestyle. She really enjoyed kayaking, boating, fishing, knitting, cooking, swimming and walking.

Diane and Larry chose to spend their winters at one of their most favorite places: Sarasota, Fla. The one thing that everyone noticed about Diane was how much she cared for others.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and could make light of any situation, and it seemed like everyone was always smiling around her. She also was a very ambitious woman, too.

Diane graduated from Butler Senior High School. She owned a restaurant from 1990 to 1995 called Goodies. She also became a Realtor and helped many people find their dream home. She raised two children during her life. Her daughter gave her two grandchildren who she loved and cared for immensely. She was also a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

Diane leaves behind her husband, Larry Snyder; her daughter, Christine M. Neigh of Sarver; her son, Erik Snyder of Appleton, Wis.; her grandchildren, Noah Neigh and Blaise Neigh, both of Butler; her brother, Larry Kennedy of Butler; her brother, Tom Kennedy, and his wife, Cecil, of Wake Forest, N.C.; her sister, Connie Crispin, and her husband, Dave, of Greenly, Colo.; her sister, Susan Vanderbug of Charlotte, N.C.; her sister, Becky Bishop of Virginia Beach; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family and friends she leaves behind respect her and love her a great deal. She will be missed.

SNYDER — There will be no services for Diane Marie Snyder, who died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017.
