Woman hit by parked car when gear slips
A parked vehicle jumped into gear around 7:15 a.m. Saturday, causing a minor injury to a woman on Rattigan Street, according to Butler Fire Department Capt. Scott Marshall.
The woman was working on her car outside 231 Rattigan St. The car was parked facing the front of her son’s car, which jumped into gear and hit her, causing a minor injury to her knee.
The woman was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital by Butler Ambulance Service. The Butler Fire Department and Butler Police also were on the scene.
The woman’s name was not available.
