Christine Konchar
Christine A. Konchar, 57, of Lyndora, passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit.
She was born Aug. 23, 1959 in Butler, the daughter of the late Andrew Onufer and Margaret Nemcek Onufer.
Christine was Catholic. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, sewing and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Konchar; her son, Justin D. Konchar at home; three sisters, Charlene Suzon, of Natrona Heights, Valerie (Tom) Balestrieri, of Pittsburgh, and Becky (Larry) Luchkiw, of Butler; several nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Grace Konchar; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cecilia Konchar Farr, Linda Leetch, Mitchell Konchar Jr., Pie Konchar, Nick Konchar and Rachel Konchar Christy.
She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Mitchell Konchar; her sister-in-law, Elaine Konchar; and her brother-in-law, Jim Suzon.
KONCHAR — Friends of Christine A. Konchar, 57, of Lyndora, who died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Tom Matson of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Interment will be private.
