Shirley L. Velicoff
Shirley L. Velicoff, 76, of Saxonburg passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 19, 1940, in Rimersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Cecil Slee and Louise Lerch Slee.
Shirley was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Sarver. She enjoyed reading the Bible, talking on the telephone, socializing with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Dennis (Tammy) Patterson of Cabot; three sisters, Martha Davis of Maryland, Phyllis Slee of Butler and Carol (Chuck) Kelley of Saxonburg; her brother, Cecil “Sonny” Slee Jr. of Sarver; her grandchildren, David Patterson, Brian Patterson, Tiffany Patterson and Kristine Patterson; one great-granddaughter, Justice Patterson; many nieces and nephews; and her friends at the Commons of Saxonburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Velicoff in 1990.
VELICOFF — Friends of Shirley L. Velicoff, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
