Wanda Bilinsky
Wanda Bilinsky, 72, of Harrisville passed away Saturday at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman, Ohio, after an extended illness.
Wanda was born May 1, 1944, in Parker, Clarion County, to Alfred and Emily Barbera.
Wanda received her education at ACV School. She was married to Elmer T. Bilinsky on May 29, 1965, and together they raised three children. Elmer died Jan. 2, 2008.
Wanda worked at various locations throughout the years. She was a cashier at the Kwik Fill in Barkeyville. She also worked at the Dollar General in Grove City and most recently worked at the Salvation Army store as a cashier.
Wanda also was a home caregiver to the elderly. She would help them with keeping their house clean and also would cook for them.
Wanda enjoyed a good game of bingo. She would travel to the local fire halls to play. She loved to make things for her family, including her heart-shaped pillows. She spent time crafting to make gifts and also to sell. She loved to paint ceramics as well. Family gatherings brought much joy to Wanda.
Loved ones left to cherish Wanda's memory are: her children, Linda Best of Harrisville and her husband, Albert, of Parker, Selina Ayers of Harrisville and Tom Bilinsky of Harrisville; her grandchildren, Staci Ayers, Jimmy Best, Autumn Rose Best Adams and her husband, Christopher, and Harley Werner, all of Parker; and one great-granddaughter, Miley Werner.
Wanda is survived by her four sisters, Arlene Fair of West Freedom, Janis Neely of New Galilee, Patricia Wolfe of Foxburg and Lola Morgan of Dutch Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Gary “Bud” Barbera; and two sisters, Donna L. Merryman and Mary Ellen Barbera.
