Shirley Jean Jones, 66, of Butler, passed away Wednesday afternoon at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, following an illness.

Born Nov. 20, 1950, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Mary Catherine Brown Barraclough.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Sallmen, of Butler, and Melissa (George) Burr, of Lyndora; four grandchildren, Tyler Sallmen, Brandi Burr, Dallyse Burr and Trynity Burr; four siblings, Mary Lou (Anthony) Grampus of Butler, Donna Braden of Butler, Carol (Wayne) Fassinger of Prospect and Kevin (Tina) Barraclough of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Barraclough.
