The driver of a Buick car was injured after he hit a house in Center Township Tuesday.

CENTER TWP — A man was injured Tuesday when his dark red Buick LeSabre crashed into a house on the 500 block of Sunset Drive.

No one inside was hurt.

State police said the driver James Winkler has “diabetic issues” which may have led to the crash. The air bag deployed, and Winkler was being treated in a neck brace.

The car hit the stone front of the house, spilling debris and some dishes and books onto the front lawn.

Wanda Delu was inside with her mother, the house’s owner, when the vehicle hit.

“We were watching TV,” she said. “And boom! A big bang, and everything went flying.”

Delu said her mother, Hazel Webb, is doing fine.
