Loretta Mae Little Miller

Loretta Mae Little Miller

Loretta Mae Little Miller, 84, formerly of Zelienople passed away Wednesday morning at Concordia of Cranberry.

Born July 20, 1932, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Frances A. Schoeffel Little. She was Protestant.

Loretta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to talk about growing up in Evans City and how the world has changed. If you didn't want her opinion, then you probably shouldn't have asked. She loved to read, especially a good history book, and she was very artistic. She dabbled in watercolors, chalk and pencil drawings and left quite a collection for her family to share. She loved listening to and playing classical music. Loretta chronicled Ed and her life in photo albums that will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. Miller, on June 27, 2010; and two sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, JoAnne (Andy) Fenoglietto of Washington, W.Va.; one son, Edward K. (Nancy) Miller Jr. of Evans City; four grandchildren, Erin (Kevin) Sitto, Lesley (Dave) Kunkel, Talia (Greg) Mara and Ben (Stephanie) Miller; eight great-grandchildren, Dominic and Ivy Sitto, Adrianne and Paige Kunkel, Juliana, Lincoln and Maeve Mara, and Julia Miller.

MILLER — As per the wishes of Loretta Mae Little Miller, who died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, there will be no services. She didn't believe in them, but left us with this thought, “There are three essentials of happiness: something to do, someone to love, and something to hope for ... and once I had it ALL.” This is what she would want for everyone. The A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Zelienople, assisted with the arrangements.Additional information may be obtained at www.kinsey-volzfuneralhome.com.
