Ursuline’s Hepler earns all-tourneyURSULINE, Ohio — Butler graduate Autumn Hepler, a senior on the Ursuline College bowling team, led the all-tournament team field at the recent American Heartland Conference Tournament.Hepler averaged 216.5 over four games for an 866 series. She topped the field of 139 girls by at least 37 pins.Ursuline placed eighth out of 21 teams in the tourney. The team will compete in the Hoosier Classic — the largest collegiate bowling tournament in the country — Feb. 11-12 in Indianapolis.

Burke gets 400th career victoryBETHEL PARK — Former Butler High School girls basketball coach Jonna Burke recently recorded her 400th career victory in Bethel Park’s 38-32 upset of Section 3-6A leader Mt. Lebanon.Burke won 123 games in eight seasons at Butler. She is in her 14th season as girls basketball coach at Bethel Park.
