John “Jack” William McCandless
John “Jack” William McCandless, 57, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Butler, passed away suddenly Nov. 12 at his home.
Born March 5, 1959, in Butler County, he was the son of the late Clark J. McCandless and Dorothy Susan Biskup McCandless.
Jack graduated from Penn State University and worked in sales, demonstrations and management for more than 30 years.
Jack attended the Skillman Bible Church in Dallas. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends; walking his dog, Scooter; reading; and magic.
Jack is survived by his brother, Jay Clark McCandless of Irvine, Calif., and a lot of cousins.
MCCANDLESS — A memorial service for John “Jack” William McCandless, who died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler. The Rev. Dr. Eric Park, pastor, will officiate.
