Robert W. Badger
Robert W. Badger, 56, of Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Mercer, passed away at 9:46 a.m. Monday at home following a brief illness.
Robert was born July 27, 1960, in Grove City, to William S. Badger and Edna R. Thompson Badger.
He attended the Slippery Rock University Lab School for many years. Later, he attended MCAR Workshop in Hermitage.
Robert was raised Methodist.
He loved family events, fishing, bowling and swimming.
He is survived by his mother, Edna R. Balcko of Slippery Rock; four sisters, Angela Wolford and her husband, Charles, of Slippery Rock, Elaine Reed and her husband, Tom, of Grove City, Virginia Stuck and her husband, Ted, of Grove City, and Mary Ann Hohmann and her husband, Fred, of Volant, Pa.; one brother, Sandal Badger of Sheffield, Pa.; and his caregivers, Clarence and Pam Wimer of Mercer. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
His father and his sister, Amy Sue Balcko, preceded Robert in death.
BADGER — Visitation hours for Robert W. Badger, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Grove City.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City with the Rev. John Hall of Heartland Hospice officiating. Burial will be at the Muddy Creek Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
