Thomas E. Biskup, 89, of Miami, formerly of Butler, passed away Nov. 28.

Born April 19, 1927, in Butler County, he was the son of Sue and John Biskup.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1945. Tom was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, and he also attended the California State College.

After moving to Florida, he worked for 38 years for Florida Power and Light until his retirement.

Tom leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Nancy Rieger Biskup; three children, Barry Biskup, Lisa Biskup Mattaway and Scott Biskup; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Ruth Biskup Bartley of Indianapolis and Joan Biskup Hinkle of Ocala, Fla.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his four sisters, Marie Durai, Christina Green, Julia Leibforth and Dorothy McCandless.

BISKUP — A memorial service for Thomas E. Biskup, who died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, was conducted Dec. 5 at the Cornerstone Church, Palmetto Bay, Fla., with the Rev. Dr. Paul Cook officiating.
