Jean Marie Reep Clark, 94, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Newhaven Court at Clearview.

She was born June 30, 1922, in Fairview Township, to the late Cecil and Myrtle Bowser Reep.

Jean was a graduate of Karns City High School. She worked at Chantler's Bakery, then devoted herself to raising her family. Jean was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, canning, baking, quilting with her friends at the church and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Jean was a kind and selfless person who was once told she smiled with her eyes. As her eyes dimmed, she smiled more brightly from her heart.

She is survived by four sons, Delbert Clark of Helena, Mont., Thomas Clark, Robert (Patti) Clark and Ray (Marsha) Clark, and one daughter, Ruth Mc (Brian) Cafferty, all of Butler; one sister, Shirley Barnhart of Chicora; seven grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Clark, who she married Feb. 16, 1942, and who died Nov. 30, 1997; one daughter, Darla McGinnis, and her husband, James; one daughter-in-law, Gloria Clark; three brothers; and six sisters.

CLARK — Friends of Jean Marie Reep Clark, who died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Kail of Unionville Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will take place at the Concord Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Unionville Presbyterian Church, 1114 Sunset Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
