Claire E. Hindley

Claire E. Hindley, 81, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Aug. 26, 1935, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late William Bundy and Mildred Claypoole Bundy.

She worked for Graybar Electric, Kimble Lighting, and II-VI. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Claire enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, baking, working the election polls and reading.

Surviving are her son, Timothy B. (Jan) Hindley of Natrona Heights; her daughter, Donna (Dan) Stroupe of Roaring Spring, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers; and six sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Hindley; and two brothers.

HINDLEY — Friends of Claire E. Hindley, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Harvest Baptist Church, 224 Harvest Lane, Natrona Heights. A service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
