You heard it from Butler resident and Ford F-150 recipient Thomas Koons first: the Steelers will defeat the Miami Dolphins in Sunday's AFC Wildcard playoff game, 38-17.

Koons made the prediction Friday at Butler County Ford while proudly standing next to his prize, a black 2016 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 pickup truck, which he won in Neighborhood Ford Store's annual contest.

Koons, who has been a Steelers fan since he was 10 years old, entered the contest during the Steelers Training Camp at St. Vincent College last summer.

“I received a call from Neighborhood Ford Store's President Kathy Wagler that I'd won the Official Truck of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I was blown away — I'd never won anything before,” Koons said in a news release. “Then, the next day, I found out I received a promotion at work.”

Koons, a product support manager for a heavy-equipment company, walked around the truck and admired the Steelers logo and black and gold colors.

“It has really pretty colors, and nice interior, power seats,” he said.

Koons is no stranger to Ford vehicles; he already owns an F-150.

“It's a great truck,” he said. “I can't complain about it. Pretty much anything and everything about this truck is great.”

This marks the fifth Steelers truck Neighborhood Ford Store has given out. This year, Ford became the Official Truck of the NFL.
