Nancy Gray Mahood

Nancy Gray Mahood, 81, of Branchton Road, Boyers, died at her home at 7 a.m. Thursday. She was born in Greensboro, N.C., to the late Curtis and Nellie Jobe. She married Howard Martin Mahood on June 3, 1964, and he survives at home.

Nancy was a homemaker and enjoyed ceramics and owned Nancy's Ceramic Shop in her home. She was affiliated with the Slippery Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, survivors include four sisters, Hazel, Mary, Ashland and Brenda, all of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles and Luke, and a sister, Wenetta.

MAHOOD — Friends of Nancy Gray Mahood, who died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
