Lucille Helen Blakeley
Lucille Helen Blakeley, 97, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at the Saxony Health Center.
Born Jan. 15, 1919, in Saxonburg, she was the daughter of Aaron and Mabel Lefever Bachman.
Lucille had worked at Maurhoff Grocery and Chester H. Paul & Sons. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg, bridge club and numerous church organizations. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, crocheting, needlework, spending time at camp, cards and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Sandra K. (Tom) Sweesy of Saxonburg; two granddaughters, Tina Sweesy and Tracy (Scott) Sweesy Ogrodnik; four great-granddaughters, Monica, Julia, Elena and Emily; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles J. Blakeley on May 11, 2008; her son, Donald W. Blakeley; and five sisters, Florence Drescher, Genevieve Fair, Eleanor Cooper, Jane Bachman and Erla Felsing
BLAKELEY — Friends of Lucille Helen Blakeley, who died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Roger G.
