Lois I. Cashdollar Dittmer Thomas
Lois I. Cashdollar Dittmer Thomas, 94, of Penn Township, passed away Friday night at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born Sept. 3, 1922, on the family farm in Mars, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Minnie Wise Cashdollar.
She was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers. She loved reading especially, her Bible.
Lois had retired from MSA in 1984 with 34 years of service.
Lois loved working outside, doing the yard maintenance. But most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Dittmer, in 1950; her second husband, William J. Thomas, on Jan. 31, 2007; two sons, an infant in 1944 and Dennis Dittmer on Sept. 16, 1997; four sisters; and four brothers.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janet Reading Dittmer of Mars; three granddaughters, Jennifer (Patrick) Cunningham of Rochester, Erica (Neil) Manzo of Maryland and Danielle (Todd) Wearing of Mars; three great-grandchildren, Riley Manzo, Colton and Peyton Wearing; and one sister-in-law, Betty Cashdollar of Valencia.
THOMAS — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lois I. Cashdollar Ditmer Thomas, who died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Old Union Presbyterian Church with the Rev.
