Man allegedly tried to take clothing
:CENTER TWP — A Chicora man was charged with robbery after an incident at Boscov’s on Christmas Eve.
Michael A. Guerriero is accused of taking $159.49 worth of young men’s clothing, and attempting to leave the store in Clearview Mall.
According to the police report, he was stopped by Boscov’s Loss Prevention workers, before he allegedly pushed them.
They took him into custody and brought him to the Loss Prevention office.
Guerriero is charged with two counts of robbery — threat immediate serious injury and retail theft, both felonies; two counts of disorderly conduct hazardous physical offense, a misdemeanor; and harassment, subjecting other to physical contact, a summary offense.
Guerriero is in Butler County Prison, unable to post a $5,000 bond
His preliminary hearing is 1 p.m. Tuesday in the court of District Judge Lewis E. Stoughton.
