Joanne A. Saul
Joanne A. Saul, 85, of Stow, Ohio, formerly of Valencia, passed away Friday morning at the Hospice of Atlanta.
Born May 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Flornell James White.
Joanne had been a bookkeeper and belonged to the Valencia Presbyterian Church and the Valencia Historical Society. She enjoyed her bowling league, card club, knitting and dominoes.
Surviving are her best friend and constant companion, Sami, her dog; her three daughters, Connie (Bob) Utz of Mars, Pamela (Paul) Marshall of Kent, Ohio, and Janet (Becky) Saul of Decatur, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Shawn (Tina) Utz, Corey (Emily) Utz, Brian (Courtney) Utz, Julie (Gray) MacKenzie, Jackie Marshall, Jessica (Tom) Boyle, Jocelyn Marshall and Zoe Saul; 10 great-grandchildren, Laney Utz, Hannah, Jaedon and Malachi Utz, Isaiah and Ethan Utz, Laurel and Bennett MacKenzie, Hadley and Teddy Boyle; and two sisters, Margie Edkins of Maine and Helen Rodfong of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Saul Jr., who she married May 1, 1954, and who died July 2, 1990, and by four brothers and one sister.
SAUL — Friends of Joanne A. Saul, who passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Friends also will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia. A service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
