Charles Ricky Parsons
Charles Ricky Parsons, 62, of Cherry Valley, Emlenton, passed away late Sunday after a long and courageous fight against cancer at the VNA In-Patient Hospice in Butler.
Born Sept. 23, 1954, in Leon, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Macie Stover Parsons. He was married to the former Donna Lee Bowser, and she survives. He was affiliated with the Church of God.
Mr. Parsons was employed as a welder with the former Pullman-Standard in Butler and was later employed with the former Cooper-Bessemer in Grove City until ill health caused retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Crawford of Sarver and Tonia Parsons at home; two sons, Kevin Bowser of Butler and Charles “Bobby” (Heather) Parsons of Kittanning; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Parsons of Harrisville; four sisters, Rita Buchanan of New Castle, Margo Snyder and Brenda Parsons of Butler and Helen (Arthur) Day of Sharon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
PARSONS — Friends of Charles Ricky Parsons, who died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Thomas Kelly will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mt.
