John William Meyers
John William Meyers, 73, of Harmony, died Saturday morning at his home after an illness.
John was born in Ellwood City on Sept. 13, 1943, and was the son of Andrew and Laura Kelly Borcz.
He worked in the steel industry and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Conway Sportsman Club in Zelienople, where he had been their longtime treasurer. John was a Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Margaret Trautman Meyers, who he married June 14, 1969; two sons, John Michael (Lee Ann) Meyers of Portersville and Matthew William (Julissa) Meyers of Arizona; a daughter, Elizabeth Frances Meyers of Portersville; his stepmother- Velma Borcz of Butler; a brother, Tommy (Pamela) Borcz of Prospect; two sisters, Terry Snyder of Butler and Linda (Craig) Mitchell of Hawaii; a grandchild, and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
MEYERS — Visitation for John William Meyers, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2016, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect.Burial will be private.
