David James “D.J.” Harrold
David James “D.J.” Harrold, 28, of Evans City passed away on Thursday.
Born Nov. 20, 1988, in Fort Myers, Fla., he was the son of Tracey Lynn (Fetsko) Marsh, of Evans City and David Allen Harrold of Fort Myers, Fla.
D.J. was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School's Class of 2007. He was often seen walking through the town of Evans City with his sunglasses on, his earphones around his neck, singing along to his favorite music, a sight that will be missed. He was known for his charming, flirtatious personality and his amazing smile. Anyone who knew him instantly fell in love with him. The ability to see into another's soul is a rare gift. This gift gave D.J. the ability to befriend those that needed it the most, encourage those that had fallen and love deeply those that were suffering. He was able to express his gift through his love of art, writing and music. His achievements are measured in the smiles he put on each person's face, a talent he mastered.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Harrold Romsberg; his siblings, Jeremiah Harrold, and his wife, Heather, Christopher Harrold, James Smith and Noah Smith; his nephew, Tayden Harrold; his nieces, Lily and Riley Harrold; his aunts, Dana Foster, and her husband, Keith, Stephanie Crago, and her husband, Scott, Sue Turner, and Debbie, and several cousins and loyal friends.
D.J. was predeceased by his grandmother, Naomi Jean Thomas, and his grandfathers, Russell Fetsko and Lawrence Harrold.
