Edith “Marie” Reiser

Edith “Marie” Reiser, 91, lifelong-resident of Cranberry Township, passed away Thursday.

Born June 12, 1925 in Cranberry Township, she was daughter of the late Albert and Blanche Holman Reiser.

Marie was a lifetime member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovi, where she taught Sunday school and was the church secretary. She worked for 40 years as a bookkeeper for Dr. McGovern in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by several cousins and a sister-in-law, Agnes Reiser.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Reiser.

REISER — The family of Edith “Marie” Reiser, who died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, will welcome friends from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with the Rev. William Steel, officiating.Marie will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovi, 1001 Freedom Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
