LaVaunna “Bonnie” J. Aites

LaVaunna “Bonnie” J. Aites, 82, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 16, 1934, in Karns City, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Bertha I. McElravy Wagner.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Karns City. She served on the Missionary Ladies of the Church of God of Prophecy and also sang in the church choir. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are one son, Floyd (Kelly) Aites Jr. of Papillion, Neb., one daughter, Valerie Hill of Butler; four grandchildren; one brother, James E.S. (Joan) Wagner of Carlisle, Pa; one sister, Olive J. Flick of Kittanning; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, Donna Bunyan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Aites Sr., who died June 17, 2006; one daughter; and numerous sisters and brothers.

AITES — Friends of LaVaunna “Bonnie” J. Aites, who died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev.
