Kathryn W. Critchlow, 83, of Harrisville passed away Wednesday at Grove City Medical Center.

Born in Mercer County Oct. 9, 1933, to the late Howard R. and Florence N. Nelson Winder, Kathryn was a 1951 graduate of Grove City High School.

Kathryn was married to her loving husband, Warren H. Critchlow, who preceded her in death Feb. 22, 2004. She worked in food service at Slippery Rock University for a number of years and at United Telephone of Butler.

Kathryn was a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church, where she taught the adult Sunday school class for many years and helped prepare countless church dinners. She also was a member of the Harrisville Community Club.

Kathryn is survived by her seven children, Richard Stouffer and his wife, Pam, of Harrisville, Cynthia Warrender and her husband, Robert, of Volant, Carrie Kuehne and her husband, Richard, of Florida, Kenneth Stouffer and his wife, Cathy, of Parker, Timothy Stouffer and his wife, Nancy, of Grove City, Daniel Stouffer of Mercer, and stepson, Richard Critchlow of Florida.

Also surviving are her sisters, Dorothy Reed and her husband, Donald, of Mercer and Elizabeth Silan and her husband, Thomas, of Pittsburgh; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by her son, Michael Stouffer; her stepdaughter, Shirley Phipps; and one great-grandchild.

CRITCHLOW — Family and friends of Kathryn W. Critchlow, who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, will welcome friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.

A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey Canter, pastor of Harrisville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery.
