Barry Ray Harvey
Barry Ray Harvey, 59, of Butler passed away Tuesday.
He was the father of Tyrone Joseph, Nicole and Nathan Harvey; the brother of the late Gary, Larry (Kathy), the late Harry (Charlene, who survives), Vinita (Paul) Thomas, Dreama (Dale) Lumley, Gerald (Kim), Maynard “Poncho” (Lori) Jr., Terry (Diana) and Sherry (Ben) Cooper; and the son of the late Maynard and Thelma Mae Harvey.
He also is survived by one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The focus of Barry's life was love. Barry's gift to the world was the love that he shared with all of those who knew him. Barry represented the gifts of giving and receiving love along with God's highest standards of forgiveness and acceptance. Whether family, friend or foe, Barry was always the first and last to extend his hand to others. Barry always wanted Ross, Joe and Stanley to know that he would be their angel looking over them.
On behalf of Barry and the Harvey family, special thanks and appreciation are extended to the employees at the North Street Southwest Pennsylvania Human Services Care Center, the Butler ACT employees, the employees of the Irene Stacy Community Center and to the members of American Legion Post 778, who were all like extended family members for Barry over the years.
