The Nutcracker Lincoln show opens tonight with local talent

MIDLAND, Beaver County — Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center will open its production of “The Nutcracker” tonight.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday with matinees at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Under the direction of Jennifer Verba, the classic Victorian-era story features Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, and Dr. Drosselmeier along with Tchaikovsky’s score.
The show includes Butler County students Katie Johnson of Zelienople, Katy Coulson of Cranberry and Patricia Dietrick of Mars dancing as flowers. All three are eighth graders at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.
