Mary E. Cozzi
Mary E. Cozzi, 95, of Mars passed away Monday at the Saxony Health Center.
Born Oct. 2, 1921, in Falls Creek, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Pittsley Hopkins.
She worked as an infant nurse before she married. Mary enjoyed helping others first and foremost. She always will be remembered as a wonderful role model for those who knew her. She loved crosswords, puzzles, card games, shopping and casinos.
Surviving are her daughter, Cathrine (Ron) Book of Pittsburgh; her son, Jeffery (Linda) Cairns of Butler; her daughter-in-law, Cathy Cairns of Natrona Heights; six grandchildren, Eric Stefanski, Christopher (Jamie) Stefanski, Adam (Catherine) Cairns, Brian (Jillian) Cairns, Zachery Cairns and Samantha Cairns; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Cairns; her second husband, Robert D. Cozzi; her son, J. Michael Cairns; and six siblings.
