Mary Irene Kelly, 93, of Buffalo Township passed away peacefully Monday at the West Haven Manor in Apollo.

Irene was born March 23, 1923, in Sarver. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Richards Cole and Andrew Cole. Irene was the widow of John Francis Kelly, who died in 1959, and Howard Jacob Kelly, who died in 1974.

She was a faithful member of the Our Lady of The Most Blessed Sacrament in Natrona Heights. Irene was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family.

Irene is survived by her sons, Robert Francis (Susan) Kelly of Buffalo Township and Gary Jacob (Cheryl) Kelly of Clinton Township; and her daughter, Sandy (Gerard) Magoc of Frazer Township.

She also is survived by six grandchildren, Theresa (Tony) Marianna, Rebecca Kelly, Angela (Doug) McMillan, Cherie (Chris) Brunneti, Stephen Magoc and Shannon Magoc; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Milbert, Edith Cole, Grace Tressel and Rita Kelly; and her brothers, Regis and Howard Cole.

KELLY — Family and friends of Mary Irene Kelly, who died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights with the Rev. John Lendvai officiating.
