Hit-and-Run on S. Duffy Road
BUTLER TOWNSHIP — One person was transported by ambulance after a hit-and-run crash on S. Duffy Road Thursday evening.
A Chrysler Sebring was waiting at a stoplight at the intersection of South Duffy and New Castle Road when a white van hit the rear his vehicle and drove off.
The driver, 60-year-old Jack Nulph of Chicora was not injuried, but a passenger, Tammy Nulph, complained of pain and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Anyone with information about the van’s driver, who is described as a man in his 50s, is urged to call Butler Township Police Department at 724-285-9600.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m.
