Beatrice J. Weiland, 79, of Butler passed away Saturday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born April 27, 1937, in Butler, the daughter of the late Marcella Kline McFadden.

Bea worked in the deli department as a meat wrapper in several different grocery stores in Butler. She loved helping others, spending time with her family and enjoying life itself with a great positive attitude.

Surviving are one son, Martin Weiland of Beallsville, Ohio; three daughters, Diana (Chuck) Walker of Fenelton, Pamela (Eric) Dech of Pueblo West, Colo., and Judith Weiland of Butler; nine grandchildren, Joann Weiland, Anthony Weiland, Shannon Weiland, Melissa Beeman, Chad Walker, Colt Walker, Eric Dech, Morgan Dech and Cassandra Weiland; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Charles Weiland, who died Aug. 5, 1990; one sister; and three brothers.
