Stanley Bingle
Stanley Bingle, 62, of Lutz Street in Fombell passed away Sunday at his daughter's home.
Born Aug. 17, 1954, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Charles Ross Bingle and Ethel Mae Rogan Bingle McAnallen.
He was married for 40 years to Cathy D. Fischer Bingle, who died Feb. 12, 2016.
Stan had formerly worked at G.A. Industries in Cranberry. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Stan was responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft. He was an excellent musician and enjoyed playing in the “Youngbull Band” for many years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on old cars. His most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandson.
Survivors include two children, Heather (Gary) Cunningham and Seth Bingle, both of Fombell; his grandson, Gavin James Cunningham; two sisters, Cheryl (Sterling) Wagner of Fombell and Linda (Joe) Skursky of Shelocta; his brother, Charles (Carol Ann) Bingle of Ellwood City; his stepsister, Pat Libert of Ellwood City; his special niece, Piper Levasseur; and his special nephew, Eric Wagner. He also is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his stepfather, Sam McAnallen; his stepbrother, Sam McAnallen Jr. and his in-laws, Harry and Martha Fischer.
BINGLE — Visiting hours for Stanley Bingle, who died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.A celebration of Stan's life and a reunion reuniting him with his wife, Cathy, will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Lillyville Church of God. The Rev. Dennis Arndt, pastor, will officiate the services.
