National Aviary, 700 Arch St., presents the Wings in Winter holiday show through Jan. 2 between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily. Tickets are $5 in addition to general admission of $14 for adults and $13 for senior citizens and children 2 to 12. The aviary is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Thanksgiving Day.

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., will host Hop into History from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Dec. 14 for 2 to 5-year-olds, free for kids age 5 and younger and regular museum admission for adults, which is $16. Registration is required at heinzhistorycenter.org/events.
