BUTLER TWP — A Butler woman is wanted on a felony warrant for allegedly using a forged prescription in a failed attempt to obtain medication at a township drugstore.

The suspect, 33-year-old Krystal A. Miller, tried to illegally obtain 60 Adderall pills with the bogus prescription on Oct. 18 at the Walgreens on New Castle Road, Butler Township police said.

Adderall is a drug commonly used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

According to court documents, Miller altered the prescription for the medication that she had previously obtained from a Center Township health center.

The pharmacy technician at the Walgreens, however, noticed the prescription had been changed and did not fill it, police said.

District Judge Kevin O’Donnell last week issued an arrest warrant for Miller on a felony charge of acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, and misdemeanor charges of forgery and procuring drugs by forgery.
