Priscilla E. Ashe
Priscilla E. Ashe, 71, of County Line Road, Fenelton, peacefully ended her fight with cancer while surrounded by her loving husband and sons early Wednesday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Mrs. Ashe was born March 16, 1945, in Holyoke, Mass. She was the daughter of Walter and Doris Malenfant Lamory.
Priscilla graduated from Chicopee High School in Massachusetts. In her earlier years she had been employed as a teacher's aide at the Butler School District. Mrs. Ashe was a longtime member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish in Fenelton. She enjoyed line dancing, working outside in her yard and especially enjoyed flower gardening and riding her quad in the woods.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Harry J. Ashe, who she married June 3, 1967, in Holyoke, Mass.
Also surviving are two sons, Steven D. Ashe of Pittsburgh and Brian S. Ashe of Fenelton; two brothers, Walter Lamory II of Las Vegas, and Michael Lamory and his wife, Denise, of Hampden, Mass.; two sisters, Judy Camarroti of Flowery Branch, Ga., and Alice Mosser of Las Vegas; her uncle and aunt, Raymond and June Malenfant of Greenfield, Mass.; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Rosemary Ashe of Butler; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Barbara Hawryliak; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfred and Mary Ashe.
ASHE — A funeral Mass for Priscilla E. Ashe, who died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish, Coylesville, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev. Matt McClain, church pastor, officiating.
