Ervin E. “Bud” Holben
Ervin E. “Bud” Holben, 77, of Sarver passed away Tuesday at his son's home.
Born Jan. 27, 1939, in Punxsutawney, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Shirey Holben.
He was the owner and operator of Bud's Auto Sales and Auto Repair. He was a member of several bowling leagues and golf leagues. Bud loved bowling, golfing, riding his bicycles and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley J. Poston Holben, who he married April 13, 1960; his sons, Charles (Amy) Holben of Cabot and Ervin Holben Jr. of Sarver; his daughter, Bobbie Jean (fiancé, Jeff) Holben of Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Kenneth (Dolores) Holben and Edward (Antoinette) Holben; six sisters, Shirley Jean (Gary) Hloznik, Carol (the late Ernie) Aller, Pat (the late Gary) Barnhart, Peg (Phil) Hay, Lynn Nuce and Sandy (Rick) Wilhart; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Seth) Bandi, Adam Holben, Dillion Holben, Cameron Holben, Elliot Holben and Madison Holben; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Lane Bandi.
HOLBEN — Friends of Ervin E. “Bud” Holben, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, will be received from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
