EAST BUTLER — There will be a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at the East Butler Fire Hall, 808 E. Grant Ave.
In addition to crafts and vendors, there will be an auction and food for sale.
All proceeds benefit a fund to buy a headstone for Kimberly Powers, who passed away in May.

[naviga:h3]Concordia chorale to perform cantata[/naviga:h3]
JEFFERSON TWP — The Concordia Alleluia Chorale will present its annual Christmas Cantata at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Haven I Dining Room at 112 Marwood Road, entrances 2A and 2B. Admission is free.
Concordia Haven III resident Carol Oliver wrote and directed the program. She has written the narration and selected the music for 12 programs during the last six years.
The chorale includes nearly 40 participants, including Concordia residents, friends in the community and Concordia employees who serve as singers, narrators, pianists and costume designers.

[naviga:h3]Freeport site of Christmas events[/naviga:h3]
FREEPORT — Santa will host breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at Harvest Community Church, 407 Freeport Road, as the start of Freeport Celebrates Christmas.
The day-long event, coordinated by the Freeport Renaissance Association, will include a Freeport Library flea market and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, 428 Market St.
Business open houses, train displays, cookie and cupcake sales, a creative kids art show, games and cookie decorating will begin at 10 a.m. at several locations on Fourth, Fifth and High streets.
Gingerbread houses will be on display from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church, 411 High St.
The Christmas parade will be at 1 p.m., and then Santa will be at the fire hall, 400 Market St.
Hay rides will travel through town from 2 to 4 p.m.
Christmas in the Country house tours will be from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Butterfly House bed and breakfast, 1259 Sarver Road, Sarver; The Sower’s Chapel, 100 Iron Bridge Road, Sarver; and The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres at 399 Ford City Road.
