Louise A. Crawford

Louise A. Crawford, 84, of Schererville, Ind., formerly of Butler, passed away Monday.

She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Highland, Ind.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Debbie) Crawford and Tom (Diane) Crawford; her granddaughters, Kylee (Jason) Berger, Stacee (Mike) Hawkins, Melissa Crawford and Audrey Crawford; six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Donald (Edna) Shearer, Robert (Nancy) Shearer, Richard (Cathy) Shearer and James (Carol) Shearer; her brother-in-law, Brown Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crawford; her sons, Rick and John Crawford; her parents, Blaine and Lois Shearer; and her sister, Grace Shearer.

CRAWFORD — Visitation for Louise A. Crawford, who died Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Gary Brown of St. John's Lutheran Church officiating.Burial will follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery.For more information, visit www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
