Linda Marie Carpenter Delaney
Linda Marie Carpenter Delaney, 54, of Butler passed away Saturday.
She was born April 9, 1962, in Butler, to the late Raymond Carpenter and Donna Powel Carpenter.
Linda was a 1980 graduate of Butler High School. She then attended Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University, where she received her associate degree.
Linda worked as a cook for the dietary department at Butler Memorial Hospital for 16 years. She enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Linda was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, John Delaney, who she married Aug. 22, 1992; two stepsons, Eric Delaney and his wife, Jamie, of Butler, and Derek Delaney and Tina of Butler; her grandchildren, Cody, Zach and Lara Delaney; and her grandchild, Braden Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Carpenter.
DELANEY — At the family's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral services for Linda Marie Carpenter Delaney, who died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016.Private burial will take place at the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler Memorial Hospital, One Hospital Way, Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
