Pearl A. “Perk” Fend Osche

Pearl A. “Perk” Fend Osche, 82, of Butler, passed away on Friday at Concordia at the Orchard.

She was born June 29, 1934, in Butler, to the late James Fend and the late Emily Cotrill Fend.

Mrs. Osche was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian. She was a former member of Oak Hills Christian Church. She was a homemaker and was previously employed at Bobbie Brooks and Gaylords.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Oesterling, and her husband, John, of Butler; two sons, William D. Osche and his wife, Pam, of Butler and James M. Osche and his wife, Leslie, of Butler; four granddaughters, Emily Osche McCorkle and her husband, Matt, of Tarentum, Pa., Sara Osche Kuhns and her husband, Tony, of Butler, Ashley Oesterling Ramer of Cranberry Township, and Kellie Oesterling-Hirsch and her husband, Justin, of Millersburg, Pa.; two grandsons, Joshua Osche of Butler, and Nathan Osche of Van Nuys, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Carly McCorkle, Vivian Hirsch, Ryan Hirsch and Rowan Kuhns, and a soon-to-arrive great-grandchild, Eleanor Pearl McCorkle; and two sisters, Mary Lou Davis of Butler and Thelda Geibel and her husband, Conrad, of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Osche, who she married on June 11, 1955, and who passed away on Feb. 11, 2007; one grandson, Zachary Michael Osche; six brothers, Charles “Chick” Fend, James Fend, Robert Fend, Donald Fend, Kenneth Fend and Ralph Fend; and two sisters, Mable E. Fend Mulneix and Alice Fend Day.

OSCHE — Friends of Pearl A. “Perk” Fend Osche, who passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St.A blessing service will immediately follow at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry R. Bielewicz, of St. Paul Roman Catholic Parish, officiating.Private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
