Karate eventNEW KENSINGTON — Valley High School will host the 44th annual Pennsylvania Karate Championships Saturday.The open tournament will include 300 to 500 competitors from Pennsylvania, Canada and surrounding states. Contestants range from age 5-under to 35-over.The event, covering karate, kung fu, taekwon-do and other martial arts, begins at 11 a.m. Tickets will be available at the gate.
