PHILADELPHIA — Prince Albert of Monaco has visited Philadelphia to inspect the home where his mother, actress Grace Kelly, grew up and accepted a marriage proposal from his father, Prince Rainier III.

Albert spent an hour inside the home before walking around the property he purchased for $754,000.

His cousin, John B. Kelly III, said the 2.5-story Colonial may house the prince’s charitable foundation.
